To create an Atrium Administrator, follow these instructions. Note that these instructions assume the person already has a Person record in Atrium Admin.
Navigate to Atrium Admin.
Navigate to the People tab and utilize the search function to locate the individual who needs administrative privileges.
From the person’s profile, click Edit Profile in the upper right.
Scroll down and expand the Admin panel.
Check Yes next to Is Admin?
Assign login credentials:
To assign a local login to Atrium Admin, type the Username for the admin, the Password, and confirm the password. Note that password should be at least eight characters long and must use at least three of the four available character types: lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols. And be sure to accurately record the username and password as entered to share with the new administrator.
To assign a login for an organization's Single Sign-On (SSO), enter the admin's Username, ensuring it precisely matches their SSO username. Although they will use their own SSO password at login, you must still create and confirm a complex, strong password for the user. This prevents accidental use of this password for local logins, maintaining security.
To assign a login for system API use for web service access, create a secure but generic login and password for the organization to use with their individualized front-end application.
For Force to update password upon login, check Yes.
For Disable Atrium Login, check Yes. However, if you want to set up an admin but don’t want to grant immediate access, check No.
For Timezone, select the time zone for the admin. Note that it may or may not be the same time zone as the main campus for the organization.
Select the role(s) for the admin under Available Roles. You can also find a role faster using the Filter Roles feature. To remove a role, click it under Assigned Roles.
Select the department(s) for the admin under Departments. You can also find a department faster using the Filter Departments feature. To remove a role, click it under Assigned Departments.
Check No for Webservice Access if you are creating an Admin account for a
real person. Check Yes only if this will be used for API-service-call purposes, and
then select all the appropriate endpoints just as you did above with roles and
departments.
Click Save.
After following the above instructions, complete the setup by referring to Advanced Atrium admin settings.
